1980 wagon wheel ride

The Wagon Wheel debuted when Astroworld opened in 1968 and apparently made it all the way to the bitter end. The WW was a Chance Trabant ride -- check out this site which has other examples of this model which originally debuted in 1963. In this short clip, the ride operator gives us intructions and then lets us make a made dash for an open seat. I usually ended up being the one getting squished on this ride.
